Fed: Supporters cheer on Hanson
Former One Nation President PAULINE HANSON has been met by a cheering crowd of supportersfor her fraud case in the Brisbane Magistrates Court.
Dressed in a fitted black short-sleeved dress, Ms HANSON appeared thinner and refusedto comment as she entered the court building with her solicitor CHRIS NYST.
Ms HANSON is facing a Commonwealth Electoral Act charge of fraudulently registeringthe party in 1997 with co-founder DAVID ETTRIDGE and an additional charge of falsely claiming$500,000 in electoral funding.
Mr ETTRIDGE, who's representing himself at the four-week committal hearing, arrivedafter Ms HANSON, wheeling a trolley-load of legal documents.
The Sydney businessman who's also appealing in the Queensland Supreme Court to overturna decision to deregister the Party, said outside the hearing he's ready to take on thejudiciary.
