NSW: Two females face robbery and assault charges in Coffs

Two teenagers will appear in a Coffs Harbour court today charged with assaulting a
woman and stealing her handbag.

Police allege the 19-year-old woman and 15-year old girl demanded money from a women
in the Coffs Harbour City Mall at 7 pm last night before grabbing, punching and then kicking
her repeatedly.

Police say the pair then fled with her handbag.

The 15-year-old girl has been charged with aggravated robbery, while the 19-year-old
woman has been charged with aggravated robbery, two counts of assaulting police and two
of intimidating police.

The victim is recovering in hospital with facial and soft tissue injuries.
