Vic;Textile workers lose job after company put into receiversh=4

Mr Loebenstein said he had ben appointed receiver and manager of Brush Fabrics (Aust)
Pty Ltd on April 24 by R.I.E. Nominees Pty td.

In a memo to employees today, Mr Loebenstein said he was investigating the company's
affairs with a view to resuming operations "albeit it with a reduced workforce".

He said employee wage and superannuation entitlements would receive priority over other
creditors.

However he said while he was hopeful, he could not guarantee there would be sufficient
assets to repay all workers.
